The saucer has been dismantled (oh what a pain in the ass it was) but I plan to recycle the surrey and the lights into something this year... but I'm still trying to figure out what.

Re: My flying-saucer surrey
Tue, March 24, 2009 - 8:45 AMSeems like you had a very similar experience to my trip in 2005 ( jasondoesitall.com/bikewith2brains ). Your saucer and light sequences look awesome!
Whenever I find some bags of parts that I bought based on a design decision I later scrapped, I always remember those days. As exciting as it was (i.e. writing code at 4 a.m., packing the car at noon, and starting at 2,500 mile drive at 6 p.m.) I hope to be more organized next time. :-)
Fuck you, I love you,

Re: My flying-saucer surrey
Tue, March 24, 2009 - 8:53 AM... and looking at my own blog of the build experience, my writing ... umm ... creativity increased with each passing day. The earliest entries are rather business-like, but the manic end was colorfully embellished. -

Wed, April 15, 2009 - 9:00 AMHey Jason, ha, it was great to read your blog. Indeed there are some similarities.
Now I gotta figure out what I'm gonna do for this year...
