Mon, November 5, 2007 - 10:24 PMIt's not too bad. Very similar to a trike with the way it handles around corners. Although, the side car tends to go up in the air when making left turns if there isn't any weight on it. It was a fun project nonetheless. :) -

I'm not sure about that 4th little wheel, though? In principle, you could have your drive wheel in the air and get stuck with this design. However, based on where people sit, it looks like this is unlikely. What was/is the intended purpose of this wheel?

Sat, November 10, 2007 - 9:05 AMYes, it's the "OH SHIT!" wheel. It's a safety precaution just in case I take a fast left turn and it wants to tip... which has never happened yet. Also, when people step on the platform when they get on, it tips in the air (when no one is sitting on the bike).

Sat, November 24, 2007 - 2:38 PMHey Ezra! It snowed here (in Boulder) this week so I will need to see how it handles. I need to replace the outrigger tire and tube and I'm going to weld on brake lugs so I can mount v-brakes on the bike for better stopping power.
